Shane Peterson
Shane Peterson has called the East Valley home for his entire life. He was born in Mesa, grew up in Gilbert, and now lives in Queen Creek. Shane established Peterson Law Offices to provide top quality legal work and personal client service to the residents and businesses that share the community he knows and loves. His goal is to provide practical, affordable legal solutions, regardless of what type of matter he handles for a client.
A significant part of Shane's practice focuses on areas that are important to every individual and family: Preserving assets and the family legacy, as well as protecting against unforeseen events that can create significant problems. His concern for the welfare of his clients and their families extends into his business law practice, where his focus includes minimizing the business owner's personal liability and preserving assets, both in forming the business and in counseling about on-going operations.
To Shane, It's Personal
Clients greatly appreciate the personalized service they receive from Shane and enjoy his comfortable, easy-going manner. They value Shane's openness to talking through all of their concerns and making sure they understand everything before they make the decision to retain the firm.
Shane focuses intently on fostering mutual trust and respect in every client relationship. The fact that clients turn to him repeatedly for help attests to the success of his client-oriented approach.
Shane's practice focus is not an accident or random choice. The firm's service areas all flow quite naturally from his own life experiences and decisions he made about how he wanted to help others in his community.
Professional Background
If you ask Shane to describe his background, he will tell you that he's been in the real estate business all his life — and it's the truth. Shane's father has been a general contractor and real estate developer for more than 30 years. He developed some of the very first planned communities in Queen Creek, Arizona. Shane grew up in the real estate business — it's been part of his life since birth and still is today.
A number of years ago, Shane's father offered him the chance to sell real estate in the development business — and Shane enthusiastically embraced the opportunity. He got his Arizona real estate agent license and was off and running, handling transactions for his father's business and for real estate investors. Shane worked as a real estate agent all through college, business graduate school, and law school, financing most of his own education. He maintains his license today, drawing on it in all his practice areas.
Business comes quite naturally to Shane. Even in college, he was focused on business and finance. Through more study, he secured a Master in Business Administration to further enhance his skills and knowledge. Then, after graduating from law school and passing the bar, he achieved his long-time goal, setting up Peterson Law Offices to offer affordable, high-quality legal services that fully utilize all his experience, skill, and knowledge to help others.
Family & Community
Beyond the work experiences and education that provide Shane with finely-honed tools to help his clients, Shane's own personal experiences in childhood and as an adult have given him a first-hand appreciation for what can happen when families encounter unforeseen circumstances. He understands how planning for seemingly remote possibilities can be put off indefinitely — and how uncertainty ensues when life doesn't unfold exactly as expected. His own life experiences underpin his dedication to helping businesses, families, and individuals address future contingencies in order to protect and preserve assets and family legacies.
Shane's commitment to residents in the East Valley shows through in his lifelong dedication to community service. He has always been active in his church, scouting, and youth programs. He became a scout leader when he turned 21. Shane truly enjoys working with young people. Currently, coaching his children's basketball teams is one of his favorite activities.
Shane, his wife Kylie, and their six children live in Queen Creek. Outside the office, Shane relishes spending his time with his wife and children. Together, they enjoy family recreation activities, including all types of sports. Shane's extended family members all live nearby and often are included in activities. When Shane finds time, he enjoys hunting and playing golf with his family and friends.
